supporting underpriviliged families

Feeding Hope, One Meal at a Time

Through community kitchens in Gazi Goth, Orangi, and Mohammad Khan Goth (Northern Bypass, Karachi), we serve daily meals to families facing food insecurity. For many, this is their only meal of the day.

Ramadan

During Ramadan, we distribute essential food rations in remote areas of Karachi and the interior of Sindh, including Mola Khatiyar, Sanghar, Phalkara, Matli, and Tando Allah Yar—ensuring that no one is forgotten in their time of need.

Eid ul Adha

On Eid ul-Adha, FPT arranges Qurbani, distributing meat with dignity to families who rarely have access to such nutrition.

Empowering Communities, Restoring Dignity

FPT believes that food is more than sustenance—it is hope, strength, and dignity. Our community kitchens are run by local women, providing them with income opportunities while training them in cooking, hygiene, and management skills. We also support local vendors by sourcing fresh vegetables and meat, creating a ripple effect of economic empowerment.

Education

Our school currently enrolls 300 students and has successfully graduated two batches of Year 10 students, giving them a chance at a brighter future.

MOGRA by FPT

MOGRA is a drive by The Food Project Trust, to empower the communities in Ghazi Goth, Orangi and Northern Bypass, Karachi.
Less privileged women living in the vicinity of the community kitchens are given an opportunity to use and enhance their skills in stitching and embroidery to create different products and earn an income.
